I make semi abstract paintings of plankton that I collect from the sea and photograph under a microscope in a science lab. I think art has the power to change how we see the world, and I want to inspire people to appreciate the 70% of it that’s covered by water. I’m on a mission to show the beauty and diversity of the ocean’s charismatic microfauna by making 100 paintings of plankton.
